AerospaceBC partners have been
successful winning contracts with tier one suppliers in the USA.
Advanced CNC Machining in Maple Ridge supplies several components on a regular basis to
support the 747 passenger doors. ASDAC CNC Machining, a Kelowna company signed long term
agreements with two companies to supply parts for the 747-8 and 737 programs.
Mahler Industries of Coquitlam also signed a long term contract to supply parts for
the 737 program. In all cases these contracts are for requirements running from
3 to 5 years with options. We are hopeful that these successes will gradually
gain momentum and open up more opportunities for small business in BC to export their talent and support
the aerospace industry.
